EDINBURGH ROYAL MILITARY TATTOO

Last weekend Allan and I headed down to Edinburgh for the Royal Military Tattoo...we have been once before a number of years ago...
Edinburgh Castle in all it's glory...
 
 The military pipes and drums...
 
 Some of the very talented dancers...
 
 The Americans did a superhero rendition complete with light show and these are the lights for Popeye the Sailor Man...it was followed by Batman, Superman, Spiderman and a couple of others...

 These(apart from the pipes and drums) were our favourite...The Top Secret Drum Corps from Switzerland...they were fast and furious and put on a fabulous show...

I have managed to cross another item of my list for the Scavenger Hunt...still got a few to go though so I better get my skates on...xxx

    I love the dragon flags and dancers. The castle shot reminds me of being in Edinburgh. Thanks for bringing me back.

    I have been just once, about 25 years ago when I was on an orchestra tour at the Festial. I loved the atmosphere!
