WOYWW.....

What's this all about I hear you ask...pop over here to the Stamping Ground and find out....
I have been following other bloggers that I know doing this for a while now so thought I would join in this week....I have been working on this wreath since last night following a tutorial from The Little Blue House...I made it bigger than they suggested making each of my squares (cones) 10cm and I am not sure if you notice the compass on the bottom right...my Cricut is playing up and not cutting true shapes so went back to the old fashioned method for this...although the snowflake seemed to be okay shape wise so maybe it's sorted itself...
I also have a couple of pages laid aside for November's 365 Calendar Challenge which I hope to get started this week...and a music tuition form that I need to fill in for Libby now she has taken up the violin at school....
Swing round to my other desk and there is my Cricut, my box of glitters and some tags in the corner waiting to be buttoned and ribboned for my Etsy Shop...there is also a home magazine open at a page with some gorgeous wallpaper that I am coveting for the living room...that's me for today...thanks for looking....xx

  12. Looks like Libby had a great birthday!! Tell her to keep up her violin. I play in school and then for some reason stop. I have always been sorry as I could not pick one up & play it today, so sad. Don't forget to show us the finished wreath.

  13. Your wreath is looking good! Hope you Cricut sorts itself out. Now you've taken the plunge, you may find this WOYWW lark quite addictive!

Thanks for your visit to my desk and for the links (Revamp and Maple and Magnolia) - they look really good, shall have to investigate them further!

  15. Hi Kirsti - thanks for the visit and comment - I've got a friendly electrician to bypass the bit that had broken and we now have non-stop heat and hot water. Woo Hoo! They joy of using your own power shower after a week of my mums wait between the drips version! (Tho' I was very grateful to not have to go to the local pool for a shower;-)
That is such a cool wreath idea - looks like it's going well.
You are also inspiring me to get on and do Kate's Calendar as I met her at Art from the Heart and have wanted to join in ever since.
This is a great blog - I'm pleased to have found it.

  18. Welcome to WOYWW. I know what it's like when you try to cut something perfectly. Sorry to hear about your cricut. I don't own one, so I would take even a wonky one. Also sorry I'm so late getting here. You would think since I had most of my obligations out of the way, I would have freed up a bit more computer time. Unfortunately, what happened was, I was so far behind, I became overwhelmed. Will try to do better this week. But don't let my lateness keep you from coming back. It's very addicting.
